BY
ROAD
From
Amersham-On-The-Hill:
From the roundabout at Amersham British Rail and Tube station,
with the station behind you, go left down an incline 100yds
to the mini-roundabout. Turn left under the bridge and follow
the road (Station Road) down to the bottom of the hill (1).
At the roundabout turn right. (2)At the next roundabout (Tesco
on your right) go straight across. (3) At the next roundabout
turn left into Whielden Street. The friends Meeting House is
on the right, just before the hospital. There is some parking
in the grounds and usually parking on the street.
From
Beaconsfield(M40):
Take
A355 towards Amersham. Arrive at the bottom of Gore Hill (2nd
roundabout, having crossed the Amersham by-pass at the 1st roundabout).
This is outside Tescos Supermarket. Turn left and follow the
directions from (3) above.
From
Chesham, Berkhamsted, Tring, Hemel Hempstead etc:
Follow A416 through Chesham and Amersham, arriving at the
bottom of Station Road Amersham. Follow the directions from
(1) above.
From
Little Chalfont, Rickmansworth, Chorleywood, M25:
Follow A404 through Little Chalfont.At Amersham Common (mini
roundabout) go straight ahead (Stanley Hill) for about a mile
downhill to a roundabout. Turn right and go downhill to a mini
roundabout. Go straight ahead and follow the directions from
(2) above
From
Wycombe, Missenden, Aylesbury:
Follow Amersham by-pass (A413) and turn left at roundabout following
signs to Chesham and Old Amersham. At next roundabout (Tescos
Supermarket ahead of you), turn left and follow directions as
from (3) above.
From
Gerrards Cross, Chalfont St. Giles and Chalfont St.Peter:
Take the A413 towards Amersham. At the roundabout with the Amersham
by pass, go straight on towards Old Amersham, then follow the
directions from (2) above.

RAIL
Take the
tube (Metropolitan Line) or Chiltern Railways to Amersham Station.
The Friends Meeting House is a considerable walk from the station.
Carousel Bus #4 or Arriva the Shires & Essex #362 (just left
outside the station) go past the Friends Meeting House. Journey
time is around 10 minutes.
